Physical Access

The Student Hub has lift access, automatic doors, step-free entry and wide walkways suitable for mobility devices and prams. These features also provide access to nearby bathrooms and the parents and carers room (see Bathrooms below).

If you arrive via Joplin Lane on the lower ground level (near the underground car park, supermarket and food outlets), you can reach the Student Hub by:

  • using the stairs, or
  • selecting Level 1 in the lift next to the Chatime store.

For parking information, accessible paths and public transport routes, see the .

Sensory and communication support

If you would be more comfortable with a quieter space, a private room, extra time, or support with communication, please let us know at check-in. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you like.

The Student Hub can be busy at certain times. If noise, crowds or waiting are difficult for you, please tell us at check-in or contact Student Central before your visit and we will do our best to support you.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms, including accessible bathrooms, are located immediately next to the Student Hub on Level 1.

A gender-neutral bathroom and a parents and carers room are located on Level 2 and can be accessed by lift from the Student Hub foyer.

Student Hub Kambri - Step-by-step guide to visiting

Step 1 - Before you arrive

Please bring:

  • your Student ID card (or government-issued photo ID if replacing your Student ID card)
  • any documents related to your enquiry

If you need IT support, also bring:

  • your device and charger
  • your phone for multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes

Step 2 - Check-in when you arrive

  1. Scan the QR code
This opens the Student Hub Kambri check-in form on your device. If you prefer, or cannot use your own device, staff at the desk closest to the welcome point can check you in.

  2. Complete the check-in form.
You can tell us your preferred name, what you need help with, and whether you would like any access adjustments. You can also request a quieter callout or a visual cue instead of your name being spoken.

  3. Find a seat or space in our waiting area.
When it is your turn, a staff member will come to the waiting area and use the option you selected.

Please note: last check-in each day is 15 minutes before closing time.

From Monday 25 May to Friday 24 July 2026 (Orientation Week), the Student Hub locations listed above will be operational during the advertised opening hours and will provide the services outlined for each location.

During this period, students will be able to continue accessing in-person support, general enquiries and program-specific advice through the relevant Student Hub locations as the new model is progressively implemented ahead of Semester 2.

From Monday 27 July 2026 (Week 1, Semester 2), all Student Hub locations will move to standard operating hours:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10am-4pm
  • Wednesday: 10am-5pm

Further information about Semester 2 arrangements, including additional guidance and updated webpages, will be shared closer to the start of semester.

We recognise this is a significant change to how student support services are delivered across campus, and ensuring students are informed throughout the transition has been a key priority.

We are committed to continuing to communicate openly and regularly as arrangements are finalised and additional services come online. Students will continue to receive updates, guidance and practical information throughout the transition period to support a smooth move into the new Student Hub model ahead of Semester 2.

Further information, including updated webpages, FAQs and Semester 2 arrangements, will continue to be shared over the coming weeks.

Q) Why are these changes being introduced?

ºÚÁÏÌìÌÃis changing how students access support, so it is easier to know where to go for help. These changes bring the Student Hub services together into a more coordinated model, with the aim of making support easier to access, more consistent, and closer to where students study and spend time on campus.

Over the coming months, Student Hubs will give students clearer entry points for support, more consistent advice across campus, and better connection between general enquiries, program advice, and the right team for their situation. This means students should not need to work out which College, team, or office to contact before asking for help.

Q) Can I still access support during exams and the semester break?

Yes. Student support services will continue throughout the transition period. While some locations and services will operate differently during this time, support will remain available to students.

Q) Can I still get program or course advice?

Yes. Program and course advice will continue to be available through the relevant Student Hub locations listed above.

Q) I'm not sure where to go, what should I do?

You can visit any Student Hub for general help, and staff will guide you to the right support if needed.

Q) Can I provide feedback on these changes?

Yes. We recognise this is a new approach, and your feedback will be important in shaping how the service evolves. Students can continue to provide feedback or raise concerns through the

If you have any immediate questions, you can contact Student Hub directly via student@anu.edu.au
