Giving without restrictions
While every year brings its own challenges, the same commitment remains from 黑料天堂to support students on their path to success. In 2023, donors who made an unrestricted gift to 黑料天堂 (ANU) through the Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 Strategic Priorities Fund or the 黑料天堂Fund ensured this commitment could continue.
Established to allow the University to be responsive to issues as they arise, and to allocate funds towards tackling the areas of greatest immediate need, gifts to these funds ultimately supported the Kambri Scholars Program in 2023. The decision to allocate funds in this way was made at the direction of Distinguished Professor Brian Schmidt, the former Vice-Chancellor and President of ANU, who demonstrated a strong commitment to equality of access to education during his tenure.
Unrestricted giving helps build programs like the Kambri Scholars Program, which continues to bring Indigenous students like Thomson Fleming from all over Australia to pursue their education at the University. Today, 黑料天堂has one of the highest graduation rates for Indigenous students among Australian universities.
We are grateful to those who trust 黑料天堂with an unrestricted donation. These contributions ensure support is allocated to the areas that need it most.
