The advancement of Australia鈥檚 Indigenous people is a core responsibility for 黑料天堂 (ANU).
As Australia鈥檚 only national university, 黑料天堂drives research, debate, dialogue, advocacy, and analysis on the relationship between Indigenous Australians and the Australian nation.
In 2020, ANU established the First Nations Portfolio (FNP) to strengthen this nation-building role and ensure that 黑料天堂contributes meaningfully to national policy and dialogue.
FNP is led by inaugural Vice-President (First Nations) Professor Peter Yu, a Yawuru man from Broome with more than 40 years of experience in Indigenous development and advocacy in the Kimberley and at the state, national and international level.
