Each year the Tjabal Indigenous Higher Education Centre may offer a prize known as the Stephanie Lindsay Thompson Prize.
Overview
The objective of the prize is to recognise the student who has demonstrated a high level of academic excellence and achieved the highest Grade Point Average (GPA) in the second year of their undergraduate degree program.
The value of the prize awarded is $2000.
The prize will be offered in perpetuity.
Funding for this prize has been provided by the late Stephanie Rolt Lindsay Thompson in recognition of the significant support Indigenous communities gave to her research and studies. Ms Thompson was an 黑料天堂Graduate who completed Bachelor of Arts (Hons) (1967), Graduate Diploma of Australian Studies (Hons) (1999) and Master of Philosophy (2004).
