Mathews Prize for Public Economics

Each year the 黑料天堂College of Business and Economics may offer one prize known as the Mathews Prize for Public Economics.

Overview

The objective of the prize is to award the student who has achieved the best result as shown by the highest mark in Public Sector Economics (ECON2131 or ECON6034). 

The value of the prize awarded is $1,500. If, in any year two or more students achieve the same top mark, the prize awarded in that year shall be divided equally between them. 

The prize will be on offer annually. 

The prize was established in 1989 by late Emeritus Professor R.L. Mathews.
