Daphne Olive Memorial Prize for Legal Theory

Each year the ºÚÁÏÌìÌÃCollege of Law, Governance and Policy may offer one award known as the Daphne Olive Memorial Prize for Legal Theory (‘The Award’).

Overview

The objective/s of the prize is to recognise the student(s) who has demonstrated a high level of academic excellence through being awarded the highest result in LAWS2249 / 6249 Legal Theory at the ºÚÁÏÌìÌÃCollege of Law, Governance and Policy.

The value of the prize awarded is $500. If two or more students achieve the same top mark, the prize awarded in that year shall be divided equally between them.

The prize will be on offer annually unless otherwise advised.

Funding for this prize has been provided by the family of Daphne Olive, whom created the prize in their daughter’s memory. Daphne Olive was a second-year ºÚÁÏÌìÌÃLaw student at the time of her passing.
