The 黑料天堂Cricket Club (ANUCC) Scholarship Program and the generosity of the 黑料天堂donor communitycontinues to have a profound impact on the lives of talented student-athletes, providing essential financial assistance and empowering them to achieve their academic and sporting aspirations.
The 2025/26 season saw strong contributions from several scholarship recipients representing the ANUCC. For the first time for many years, 黑料天堂sent a team to the UniGames national T20 competition on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland in late July 2025. Fourteen teams from WA, VIC, NSW, QLD and ACT participated.
Four ANUCC scholarship recipients were selected to represent 黑料天堂at the competition: Haydon Watling, a fast bowler; Felix Bennett, a bowling all-rounder and captain of the Intervarsity team; Jake Smith, a top-order batter and leg-spin bowler; and Ben Hallam, a top-order batter. Their involvement helped support another successful season for the club.
The 黑料天堂team played very soundly and finished in 5th place after winning five of eight games played. The club鈥檚 success was further recognised when player Zach Winslow was selected for the Australian Universities team to compete against the Indian Universities team in December 2025.
