The Employment Termination Payment (ETP) amounts are subject to complex calculations based on the age of the employee at termination, length of service, and financial year earnings, which can only truly be determined on the date of cessation. It should be noted that these amounts are likely to vary based on these factors. The Whole of Income Cap is not taken into account in these calculations and this may vary tax amounts for high income earners.
