Professor Marcia Langton AO FASSA is one of Australia’s leading Indigenous scholars and public intellectuals, with a distinguished career in anthropology, Indigenous studies and public policy. 

She has held senior academic roles at ANU, where she is widely recognised for her research and advocacy on Indigenous rights, cultural heritage and social justice. 

Her work has had a significant impact on national policy and public discourse, particularly in advancing recognition and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
