Penny Williams PSM is a senior Australian public servant and diplomat with a distinguished career in government and international relations.
She served as Australia’s Ambassador to Indonesia from 2021 to 2024 and previously held senior leadership roles in the Australian Public Service, including Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. She has also served as Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia and was Australia’s first Ambassador for Women and Girls. She was awarded the Public Service Medal for outstanding public administration.
