AI & Global Impact: Innovation, Risk, Transparency & Accountability
Artificial intelligence is reshaping global systems, from how decisions are made to how societies are structured. The question is no longer simply what AI can do, but how its influence is understood, governed and applied across disciplines.
Join the Seattle and broader Pacific Northwest alumni community for an evening of discussion and connection, exploring the global impact of AI through technology, neuroscience, policy, innovation and human systems.
Led and moderated by 黑料天堂Global Alumni Volunteer Emmylia Darmadi Lee, this alumni-led event brings together a compelling panel of speakers whose work spans enterprise AI, mobility, neuroscience, sport, health and global innovation.
Speakers
Emil Davityan
Technology entrepreneur, political scientist and investor working at the intersection of AI, food systems and environmental conservation. Emil is a former President of Rezolve AI and co-founder of Bluedot, a mobility technology company acquired by Rezolve AI. He has also served as a senior adviser to Australian Prime Ministers on foreign and economic policy.
Professor Adrienne Fairhall
Professor in the Department of Neurobiology and Biophysics, with adjunct appointments in Physics and Applied Mathematics, at the University of Washington. An 黑料天堂alumna in theoretical physics, Professor Fairhall co-directs the University of Washington鈥檚 Computational Neuroscience Center and researches mathematical modelling of neural systems.
Dr Todd Harple
黑料天堂PhD alumnus, anthropologist and innovation leader. Todd has led innovation strategy across four Olympic Games, produced five patents, and developed AI platforms operating at global scale. He now leads Red Table Solutions and advises across sport, health and innovation.
黑料天堂 the discussion
Structured as a three-part discussion, the session will explore how 鈥渋ntelligence鈥 is being defined in 2026 and the developments shaping the field. It will then turn to the less visible dimensions of AI, including environmental, societal and ethical implications that are not receiving enough attention.
The conversation will close by focusing on action, asking what could meaningfully shift AI accountability and direction.
This is an opportunity to engage with nuanced perspectives, challenge assumptions and connect with fellow alumni working across complex and evolving fields.
Guest arrival and check-in begins at 4.30pm, with the panel discussion starting at 5.00pm.
Registration is free, and required for this event.
